Daniel Edwards D.C.

Dr. Edwards always knew that he wanted to do something in the healthcare field. His mom had suffered from long standing back pain for years, and he witnessed the relief that chiropractic care was able to provide to her. Inspired by the care his mom had received, he eventually pursued an internship at the chiropractic office where his mother had received her care. It was during this time that he was able to see the positive impact that chiropractic care and nutrition had on people’s lives. This experience ultimately inspired him to become a chiropractor himself.

Dr. Edwards grew up in Greenville, Ohio. He then attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio; majoring in biology with a concentration in exercise physiology, and a minor in psychology. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. During which, he completed over one hundred hours in functional medicine training.

While in chiropractic school, Dr. Edwards was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid. With his knowledge of functional medicine, he made lifestyle changes to better support his body through diet and supplementation. Because of this, Dr. Edwards no longer experiences the symptoms associated with Hashimoto’s that he once did. Through his knowledge of nutrition, and training in functional medicine, Dr. Edwards strives to help others the way he was able to help himself.

Being able to help people get out of pain and back to doing what they love is one of the reasons Dr. Edwards loves his job the most. He believes most musculoskeletal conditions are best managed through chiropractic care and muscular rehabilitation. Experienced in Diversified, Thompson drop, Cox Flexion/Distraction and Activator adjusting techniques. Dr. Edwards rehabilitation includes the use of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to identify areas of dysfunction. His rehabilitation begins with a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) approach to build a foundation for functional exercise.
