Melissa Harlow DC, CACCP, CKTP
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Melissa Harlow has years of intense training and experience in spinal adjustments. We at Peak Balance Family Wellness believe in a whole body approach that the whole family can benefit from. Utilizing gentle chiropractic techniques we provide advanced spinal correction allowing your body to restore balance. Of course, each case varies and consideration have to be made for age, physical resilience and severity of the problem. Typically, Dr. Harlow likes to focus on strength, flexibility and postural corrections which target the true cause of the problem. Addressing the structure first allow for optimal nervous system function and peak performance!
Originally from Colorado Springs, Dr. Harlow is passionate about chiropractic and is excited to bring chiropractic care to the local Colorado Springs community. She was a graduate of Air Academy High School, University of Northern Colorado and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, American Chiropractic Association, Colorado Chiropractic Association and the Logan College of Chiropractic Alumni Association.
Dedicated to the latest most advanced techniques, Dr. Harlow has additional certifications with the ICPA in whole family wellness care. She is Webster Technique Certified and granted CACCP which is Board Certification in prenatal care and chiropractic pediatrics. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Exercise and Sports Science and it fuels her interest in working with athletes in both injury recovery and prevention. Even today you’ll find Dr. Harlow on the soccer field 2-3 times per week. We have several Peak Balance indoor soccer teams representing our awesome “I got your back” shirts.
Dr. Harlow is a mother of two, a beautiful daughter, Taylor and son, Logan. She meet her husband in college and they have been happily married for 12 years. Starting a family has been the driving force behind Dr. Harlow’s focus on working with expecting and postpartum moms. Not exactly happy with her first birth experience, Dr. Harlow is passionate about helping other mamas get the birth experience they want and helping educate to make changes to the attitudes and fear behind childbirth.
Tiffany Johnson DC, CVSMT, CoAC
Dr. Tiffany Johnson is a season Chiropractor licensed in the state of Colorado. She also holds licenses in Virginia, Missouri, and Arizona. Dr. Tiffany has been practicing since 2012. She began her education studying Chemistry at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. From there she attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West, in San Jose California, to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Shortly after graduating PCCW, Dr. Tiffany moved to Flagstaff Arizona where she practiced for six years, locally as well as on the Navajo reservation.
Dr. Tiffany has experience with Activator Technique, Thompson Drop Technique as well as Kinesiology Taping and Graston Technique. Realizing her passion for animals she left her practice to continue her education in Wisconsin, attending Healing Oasis for her Certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy as well as a certification with the College of Animal Chiropractic (CoAC). Dr. Tiffany now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, looking forward to healing the surrounding community.
Maria, Certified Athletic Trainer
Maria has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for over 4 years. She has experience in many different settings from the high school and physical therapy setting to working with a Sports Medicine Doctor. She just recently moved to Colorado from Illinois. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside exploring Colorado’s outdoors with her husband and two huskies.
Alyssa Quinones, Front Desk and CA
Alyssa is certified in Medical Billing and Coding and has always had a passion for different aspects of the medical field, especially Chiropractic care. She is originally from Florida and relocated to Colorado with her husband four years ago. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring Colorado.
Anne Powell, Licensed Massage Therapist
Anne Powell has been a massage therapist for almost 9 years. She is certified in neuromuscular therapy and trigger point massage. She is working on her prenatal and perinatal certifications. Anne loves massage therapy and it is her passion to help people and make them feel better. Anne is a native of Colorado Springs, has been married for 7 years, and is raising a daughter who just turned 1 year old. She has two dogs and a cat. She enjoys traveling and getting away in the mountains for the weekend.

Jennifer has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 8 years. Deep tissue massage is her specialty. She is certified in structural integration and also has additional training in myofacial work, trigger point therapy, reflexology, and sports therapy. She loves the ability to assist patients in healing and always stays up to date on the latest techniques and studies.
AJ, Licensed Massage Therapist
AJ has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for almost 8 year. She certified in prenatal, oncology, medical, and sports massage. She also specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, swedish, and myofascial release therapy. Her goal with every client is to help them feel better and get the results they need and want by tailoring the massage specifically to their needs!
